PARKING AND ACCOMMODATION AT GATWICK
There is a huge choice of car parks and hotels at Gatwick airport, and a huge choice of booking websites offering you the ‘best rates in the business’. To save you from hapless searching, we list five sensible options below, each one providing a specific service which we have described. Please note that the transit train running between the North and South Terminals will not be operating during the winter 2009–10. There will be buses running every three minutes to and from the forecourts of both terminals but you may want to take this into consideration when booking parking for this winter.
Cophall Farm Parking
Cophall Farm Parking is a friendly, family-run shuttle and off-airport parking service operating at Gatwick Airport only. Established for over 25 years, they offer the cheapest parking for Gatwick, from £29.60 per week, combined with an exceptionally high customer service level. The carpark operates 24 hours, 7 days a week, with staff always on site and the compound fully secure and constantly patrolled, so your car is safe while you are away. They are located at Copthorne 10 minutes from the airport terminals, and they operate to request, so on arrival you are driven to the airport in a courtesy minibus, and on your return you telephone on the freephone number provided and they come and collect you. The minibuses can carry skis and snowboards, making the whole experience as smooth as possible. 10% discount for YSE guests.

The Corner House Hotel
This family-run, 4-diamond hotel is located in Horley, 3 miles from Gatwick North Terminal. They have a range of en-suite and standard bedrooms, and a bar and restaurant for evening meals or just a drink when you arrive. Continental breakfast is served until 7am, and a full cooked breakfast from 7–9am which you may just manage before setting off to the airport for the YSE check-in at 7.30am. They provide transport to and from local train stations and bus stops, as well as a shuttle to Gatwick itself which takes about 5 minutes. If you are driving, there is secure parking, adding around £28 for the week. The Corner House has frequent offers for parking or rooms, such as half-price parking from December 2009 to March 2010, subject to availability.

Holiday Extras Parking and Hotels
Holiday Extras is the UK market leader for airport parking and offers the widest range of parking at Gatwick, Heathrow, Manchester and Stansted. The earlier you book, the better the price will be, from around £39 for Gatwick's on-airport ‘super saver’ car park. They also provide airport hotels, a door-to-door taxi service, car-wash, etc.

Meteor Meet & Greet Parking
For valet parking we recommend Meteor Meet & Greet, whose uniformed driver will meet you at the departure set-down and take your car to their secure car park, safely monitored 24 hours a day. On your return they bring your car back to the airport, avoiding any crowded bus transfers. The cost is around £75 a week.
