Chalet Staff and Assistants

CHALET STAFF

This position involves cooking, cleaning and managing the day-to-day running of our smaller chalets in Val d’Isère, and applicants must be ready and able to excel in all three. Furthermore, a cheerful, friendly and sensible personality is a necessity! We study your menus and any previous experience carefully: please suggest the best meals you can actually cook (regardless of budget).

CHALET ASSISTANTS

We also employ a number of Chalet Assistants to work alongside Chalet Cooks and Chefs. Assistants are responsible for cleaning and overseeing the day-to-day running of our chalets. You will be required to make beds, clean bathrooms, hoover throughout the chalet, set and clear the table, serve meals, wash up etc. Some Chalet Assistants turn out to be sufficiently competent cooks to run their own chalet, but most spend the winter cleaning and serving. It is hard and repetitive work, but there’s a great team spirit!
