Parking and accommodation at Gatwick

Please note that in past seasons we heard from two sets of guests who booked a meet and greet service online and then either couldn't get hold of the company to drop off their car (and had to pay £104 to park in the Gatwick long-term car park) or couldn't contact them to collect their car (and finally got the car back on Tuesday rather than Sunday). COPHALL PARKING GATWICK

Cophall Parking is a friendly, family-run shuttle and off-airport parking service, operating at Gatwick Airport only. Meet and greet is also available. Established for 30 years, they offer parking at Gatwick from only £34.75 per week, with an exceptionally high customer service level. In view of the security note above, they also hold a 'Park Mark' security award. The car park operates 24 hours, 7 days a week, with staff always on site and the compound secure and patrolled, so your car is safe while you are away. They are located at Copthorne, 10 minutes from the airport terminals, and they operate to request, so on arrival you are driven to the airport in a courtesy minibus, and on your return you telephone on the freephone number provided and they come and collect you. THE CORNER HOUSE HOTEL

This family-run, 4-diamond hotel is located in Horley, 3 miles from Gatwick North Terminal. They have a range of en-suite and standard bedrooms, and a bar and restaurant for evening meals or just a drink when you arrive. Continental breakfast is served until 7am, and a full cooked breakfast from 7–9am which you may just manage before setting off to the airport for the YSE check-in at 7.30am. Transport is provided to and from local train stations and bus stops, as well as a shuttle to Gatwick itself which takes about 5 minutes. Twin or double en-suite room-only from around £63. Also en-suite triples, and family rooms for 4 or 5 people. Packages available including breakfast and airport transfer from £83 for a double or twin room. METEOR MEET & GREET PARKING

For valet parking we recommend Meteor Meet & Greet, whose uniformed driver will meet you at the departure set-down and take your car to their secure car park, safely monitored 24 hours a day. On your return they bring your car back to the airport, avoiding crowded bus transfers. The cost is around £75 a week.
