ESPACE KILLY SKI PASS AND DISCOUNTS
Please note that the French VAT rate applicable to ski passes rose from 5.5% to 7% on 1 January 2012. This has resulted in the Val d'Isere ski pass prices rising to accommodate the new rate.
However, Val d’Isère’s lift passes still cost less than in any comparable resort. Even in incomparable Cairngorm you’d pay almost the same! The hands-free electronic lift passes work beautifully, with your lift pass remaining safely zipped into an inside pocket all week. As well as the normal pass covering the whole Espace Killy, including Tignes, there is a Val d’Isère-only pass, but it gives 50% less skiing for a saving of only 5%.
See below for Special Offers available during the 2011-12 winter season.
Children under 5 ski free, as do adults of 75 and over. All the little lifts at the foot of the Solaise and La Daille slopes are free to everyone. This is ideal for beginners, though they quickly progress to the higher slopes, where they require a pass.
Public Prices (6 Days) – please see below for Special Offers
Pedestrian Passes for Non-skiers 1 round trip on the same lift €10.20 (€8.20 for Children and Seniors) 6-day pass €44.50 (€35.60)
Special Offers
FAMILY DISCOUNT (available all season)For a 6 or 7-day ski pass, the fourth member of a family pays half price, as do any subsequent members. The STVI’s definition of a family is two parents plus two or more of their own offspring, so it’s the second child who pays half price: half the child price if he/she is 13 or less, half the adult price if he/she is older. Children under 5 don’t count because their pass is free anyway. Children aged 5 to 17 inclusive count towards family, as do 18 to 21-year olds if they show a student card. These passes are bought on the YSE transfer bus and cannot be pre-booked.
As a guide, various 6-day permutations work out as follows: Two adults + two children under 14: €735
All of the passes described above are purchased on the YSE transfer coach or, if you aren't flying with us, on arrival at your chalet. Whether on the coach or in the chalet we accept payment by credit card (no surcharge and including American Express), euros cash or sterling cash.
PRE-PAID PASSES (for the dates below ONLY)
Payment for discounted pre-paid lift passes for the dates below can be made to the YSE UK office from 13 days prior to your departure until the Wednesday prior to departure, using a credit or debit card. We do not accept American Express. Pre-payment by credit card is subject to a 1.5% credit card surcharge (no surcharge for debit cards). Cheques/bank transfers are not accepted.
The applicable exchange rate will be determined on the day of purchase. Passes are delivered to the chalet on the first morning of your holiday, as usual. Please note that only these discounted ski passes can be paid for in advance.
MARCH OFFER (18-25 March 2012)
