Office Manager required for YSE UK Office in Sherborne, Dorset
We are currently looking for a manager for our office in Sherborne. We need someone who skis, knows Val d’Isere, can speak French and has a good sense of humour. STAFF RECRUITMENT
We are fully staffed for 2009–10 and don’t envisage taking on any new staff who haven’t previously worked for YSE.
We are receiving applications for 2010–11 and will commence interviews in May 2010.
Set up in 1991 by two very experienced organisers of ski holidays, Fiona Easdale and John Yates-Smith, YSE offer quality holidays in the French ski resort of Val d'Isère.
Although we have some 21 chalets in Val d’Isère – substantially more than any of our competitors – we are, and always will be a small firm.
All of our staff come to Val d’Isère because they want to ski almost every day for five months, on some of the best slopes in the world. You don't have to be a good skier – it doesn't even matter if you've never tried skiing at all – but you have to be a fairly sporty, outdoors sort of person to contemplate a season in the Alps.
Applicants under 21 years old need to show exceptional qualities to be considered. All applicants must be British passport holders with a valid UK National insurance number.
While working for YSE you are paid a monthly wage in arrears in Britain. You are provided with board and lodging, a lift pass, certain items of uniform clothing and the use of boots, skis and poles (or a snowboard). We transport you to the resort at the end of November and back to Britain in early May.
