ESPACE KILLY SKI PASS AND DISCOUNTS
Val d’Isère’s lift passes cost less than in any comparable resort. Even in incomparable Cairngorm you’d pay almost the same! The hands-free electronic lift passes work beautifully, with your lift pass remaining safely zipped into an inside pocket all week. As well as the normal pass covering the whole Espace Killy, including Tignes, there is a Val d’Isère-only pass, but it gives 50% less skiing for a saving of only 5%.

SPECIAL OFFERS
4% Discount (available all season)
YSE guests buying their ski pass through YSE on the transfer bus pay €214 (adult) and €171 (child/senior), a discount of around 4% off the public prices, unless they can benefit from one of our bigger reductions below.
Family Discount (available all season)
Using the public prices, the fourth member of a family pays half price, as do any subsequent members. The STVI’s definition of a family is two parents plus two or more offspring, so it’s the second child who pays half price: half the child price if they are 13 or less, half the adult price if they are older. Children under 5 don’t count because their pass is free anyway. Children of between 5 and 17 inclusive count towards family, as do 18 to 21-year olds if they show a student card. These passes are bought on the YSE transfer bus and do not have to be pre-booked. As a guide, various permutations work out as follows:
Two adults + two children under 14: €712
Two adults + three children under 14: €801
Two adults + one teen (14–17 OR student 18–21) + one child: €756.50
Two adults + three teens: €890.50
Two adults + two teens: €779
Two adults + two teens + one child: €868
Two adults + one teen + two children: €845.50
Early Season (pre–17 December)
A 6-day lift pass is an astonishing €111 for all ages.
MUST BE PRE-PAID TO YSE IN THE UK 13 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE.
Christmas Week (19–26 December)
One child free per adult, using the public prices. This works out at €222.50 for two lift passes (child 5–13 years incl.). MUST BE PRE-PAID TO YSE IN THE UK 13 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE.
Early January (2–9 January)
20% off public prices: €178 for an adult 6-day pass, and €142.50 for a child/senior.
MUST BE PRE-PAID TO YSE IN THE UK 13 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE.
Mid-March (14–21 March AND 21–28 March)
A second pass bought is half price (using the public prices), so two adult passes cost €334, working out at €167 each; one adult and one child/senior cost €311.50 (€155.75 each); and two children/seniors cost €267 (€133.50 each).
MUST BE PRE-PAID TO YSE IN THE UK 13 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE.
With the exception of pre-paid passes, YSE guests can buy their lift passes on the transfer coach or, if they haven’t flown with us, on arrival at their chalet. Please bring euros cash or, failing that, sterling. We can take Visa, Mastercard or Amex, but we keep the card overnight and need to know your PIN, so cash is simpler and safer.
Payment for pre-paid lift passes can be made to the YSE UK office 13 days prior to your departure, using a credit or debit card. Payment by credit card is subject to a 1.5% credit card surcharge (there is no charge for debit cards). Cheques/bank transfers are not accepted. The applicable exchange rate will be determined on the day of purchase. Passes are delivered to the chalet on the first morning of your holiday, as usual.
By logging on to www.valdiserepass.com and paying a fee of €10 you can get about €11 off (5%). You’d then get a further €45 off next year if you spent more than €800 this year. It seems to be aimed at big families who visit Val d’Isère twice per season or more.
Children under 5 ski free, as do adults of 75 and over, and all the little lifts at the foot of the Solaise and La Daille slopes are free to everyone. This is ideal for beginners, though they quickly progress to the higher slopes, where they require a pass.
