We will apply our Coronavirus Guarantee to all holidays booked for Winter 2021-22. The guarantee is as follows:
If we have to cancel your Winter 2021-22 YSE holiday due to travel restrictions from the UK to France, travel restrictions within France or the closure of Val d’Isère, caused by coronavirus, or if France imposes a quarantine on visitors from the UK, we will offer a full refund of any money paid to YSE.
The above depends on all YSE clients being double vaccinated and able to show this on the NHS app on their phone. Should any client be denied access to France or be required to isolate/quarantine due not being sufficiently vaccinated, YSE cannot be held responsible and no refund will be applicable under the guarantee above.
Children under 12 can enter France with a fully vaccinated adult. Those between 12-17 can also enter with a vaccinated adult but will need a PCR or Antigen test taken within 24 hours of departure. They will also have to have tests done every 24 hours. Plans are afoot in the resort to make this possible.
Due to the covid-19 crisis, and Val d’Isère’s lifts remaining closed all last season, we had to cancel all Winter 2020-21 holidays. We honoured our Coronavirus Guarantee to every guest booked for Winter 2020-21 and refunded them in full or, at their choice, transferred their payment to Winter 2021-22.

We are giving discounts of up to 20% for successful insurance claimants for March and April 2020 holidays!
We are so grateful to those who successfully claimed on insurance for their cancelled holidays in March and April 2020 when coronavirus first struck. You helped us enormously. To thank you we offered a discount of up to 20% on your 2020-21 YSE holiday, but obviously this hasn’t been possible. Therefore, we are offering the same discount to your 2021-22 holiday instead. It also applies to those who successfully claimed but didn’t re-book in 2020-21. The discount varies according to the percentage of your 2019-20 holiday that you recovered.
