This is a job for a highly organised and physically capable person, able to work on his/her own delivering wine, laundry, wood and other supplies to YSE’s seventeen chalets. You must have a clean driving licence (preferably French or an International) and be over 21, because driving is part of the job.
The Resort Supplies Rep keeps track of our sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers and towels, and liaises with the resort’s laundry company.
You will also be supervising the YSE Wine List, offered to guests who prefer an alternative to our house wines. This involves delivering wine, producing invoices and ensuring payment is collected by the end of each week. Many YSE chalets have open fires, and the Resort Supplies Rep ensures that there is a regular supply of wood.
You will help the Maintenance Rep especially when transporting fridges or ovens, etc, to and from chalets. You will also be required to help with snow clearance. On Sundays, you will help departing and arriving guests transport suitcases and skis.
It is a varied position for someone who likes keeping lists!
In addition to a reasonable wage, you will be able to ski for up to six hours on six days of the week. We provide accommodation, food whilst working, a ski pass, a travel allowance to get to and from Val d’Isère at the start and end of the season and the loan of skis or snowboard and boots. There are two days off a week.
If successful in your application, you will be required to pay a deposit of £200 on signing your contract. This will be refunded on 31 January 2022 if you are still in our employment and have not handed in notice to leave.
